Front cover: Echinopsis aff. schickendantzii Alan Ritchie', a new cultivar.

This huge and highly photogenic flower was featured in another article in 2006, but we return to it again because this particular plant has an extra secret weapon to attract us to it, namely its powerful perfume.

Alan Ritchie describes this plant for us in this issue of CactusTalk, and in deference to the unique character of this particular clone, I am here naming this selection for its originator as a new cultivar.
